Nolan’s Wheels started out as a small family project in honor of Nolan King.
Nolan loved anything with wheels. The extended amount of time the King family spent in the hospital meant lots of necessities and toys to transport to and from the room. As time went on, a collapsible, sturdy sportswagon became an essential, multipurpose tool.
Sadly, Nolan King passed away on April 1, 2017. Since Nolan’s passing, the King family has been purchasing the same wagons for other kids with chronic illnesses requiring inpatient stays. The wagons are gifted to families in Orlando-area hospitals to provide an extra set of hands to exhausted parents, or the simple distraction of a ride around the hospital floor!
Now, Nolan’s Wheels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and can accept donations.
It is our mission to help more families in need, while sharing a bit of Nolan’s exuberant joy with each of them.
Thanks to generous donations, Nolan's Wheels has been able to give back to families of children battling cancer.
